Following the success of our Monster High event, the team at Every Last Detail was delighted to be working with Mattel UK once again, this time to bring the highly-anticipated launch of Barbie The Movie to life.
Hosted at the iconic BFI Southbank in London, the event was designed to immerse guests including top buyers, product partners and the Mattel team, in the dazzling, iconic world of Barbie, setting the stage for an exclusive pre-screening experience they wouldn’t forget.
From concept to execution, Every Last Detail designed and managed the event from start to finish. Our team coordinated every element, from the bespoke styling and décor to guest services throughout the evening, including serving drinks and refreshments ahead of the exclusive pre-screening. Every aspect was designed to ensure a seamless, glamorous experience for all attendees.
Transforming BFI Southbank Into Barbie's World
Our goal was to bring Barbie’s iconic style and vibrant spirit to life, turning every corner of BFI Southbank into a scene from Barbie’s world. From the moment guests arrived, they were treated to a thoughtfully created experience that blended classic Barbie charm with modern-day flair. Here’s how we made it happen:
Pink Carpet Entrance
A Barbie event wouldn’t be complete without a show-stopping pink carpet entrance. Guests stepped into Barbie’s world from the very beginning, walking down a vibrant pink carpet that set the tone for an unforgettable experience.
Surfboard Welcome Sign
A surfboard-style welcome sign introduced guests to the event with a touch of beachy, California cool, a nod to Barbie’s timeless, jet-set lifestyle.
Palm Trees & Tropical Decor
To add to the dream house ambience, we lined the entrance with palm trees, bringing a touch of Malibu dream house charm to London’s riverside venue.
Balloon Tunnel
Guests walked through a stunning balloon tunnel in various shades of pink which added an extra pop of colour and excitement to the entryway.
Custom Photo Opportunities
Interactive photo installations let attendees live their own Barbie moment. Highlights included Dreamhouse-inspired flagstone graphics, a shimmering pink wall, neon signage, branded balloons and immersive Barbie The Movie props. Perfect for capturing memories as a star in Barbie’s world.
Disco Balls & Pink Lighting
Glamour was everywhere. Shimmering disco balls combined with soft pink lighting transformed the venue into a radiant Barbie-inspired paradise.
Giant Barbie Boxes
Oversized Barbie boxes provided a perfect photo opportunity to reflect the movie’s aesthetic, giving guests a chance to immerse themselves in Barbie’s world.
