A unique Awards Night for Pizza Express
When Pizza Express approached us with a vision to celebrate their exceptional workforce, we were proud to help honour the individuals who had dedicated more than 25 years of outstanding service to the brand.
The creative direction, Pizza Express Is Better With You, drew inspiration from the iconic track Music Sounds Better with You by Stardust. Music became both metaphor and mood, connecting loyalty, culture and celebration. The message was clear: the brand’s success is shaped by its people.
Branded VIP Arrival
Guests were welcomed through a VIP entrance designed to set the tone from the very first moment. A custom-built installation framed the arrival point, incorporating bold Pizza Express branding, statement lighting and layered design details to create an immediate sense of occasion.
The entrance wasn’t just functional, it was an experience. It created anticipation, encouraged guest interaction and provided a high-impact photo opportunity as attendees arrived. By transforming a standard access point into a photo moment, we ensured the event began with energy, presence and unmistakable identity.
Statement Vinyl LP Table Plan
Working closely with the Pizza Express team, we designed a statement centrepiece to anchor the room: a giant vinyl LP table plan installation.
More than a seating chart, the installation became an interactive focal point. The turntable-inspired structure featured individual vinyl records representing each table, enhanced with dynamic lighting to create depth and atmosphere. The scale and detailing delivered a bold yet nostalgic aesthetic that balanced brand heritage with contemporary event design.
Branded Table Details
To add a fun yet premium detail to the evening, we created bespoke pizza-shaped cookies presented inside authentic Pizza Express-style pizza boxes.
This thoughtful favour added a branded touch to the tablescape while creating a memorable takeaway moment that tied back directly to the company’s identity.
