Bringing Sustainability To Life
Every Last Detail designed and delivered a fully sustainable décor concept for Veolia’s Sustainability Summit at Center Parcs.
The brief was clear: every element of the event should reflect Veolia’s commitment to sustainability, circular economy principles and responsible resource use.
Reclaimed Pallet Wood Backdrop & VEO 23 Letters
The centrepiece of the summit was a striking VEO 23 installation and branded backdrop, both created entirely from reclaimed pallet wood. In a poetic full-circle moment, we discovered that the pallets came from one of Veolia’s own clients, reinforcing the brand’s sustainability story.
Living Greenery
Veolia requested living plants to feature within the wall and letters. We created planter boxes integrated into the installation, allowing foliage to be planted and watered for the duration of the summit. The greenery added a vibrant, natural element to the space while reinforcing the theme of environmental responsibility.
Sustainable Seating & Furnishings
Seating was provided using stools made from pallet wood, topped with comfortable cushions. Every element was designed to be reusable, sustainable and fully aligned with Veolia’s environmental values.
Bunting & Branded Lanterns
To add colour and atmosphere, we installed bunting and lanterns in Veolia’s brand palette. The bunting was crafted from recycled card, painstakingly threaded by hand on hessian twine and supported with bunting posts.
Flags in branded colours were made from recycled materials recovered from the Cornish sea, further reinforcing circular principles and sustainability messaging.
Takeaway Moments & Lasting Impressions
The Veolia Sustainability Summit demonstrated how creative event design can embody corporate values while inspiring attendees. Every detail, from the reclaimed pallet wood backdrop and letters, to living greenery, sustainable furnishings and recycled décor, was thoughtfully considered to reflect Veolia’s commitment to circular economy and environmental responsibility.
